PlusVibes Productions has been created for the sole purpose of keeping the Pennsylvania live music community blissful & positive, through the power of music and its direct corrolation to the power of positive thinking. It’s all about spreading POSITIVE VIBRATIONS in order to change this chaotic world!
PlusVibes Productions (also known as “+VIBES“) is determined to spread positive vibes using live music in Reading, Pennsylvania and will be hosting various events at premium venues in and around the Reading vicinity.
Since 2003, music lover and +VIBES founder, Chris Kratz, acting as Entertainment & Booking Manager, has brought a wide spectrum of talented musicians (such as Future Rock, Jah Works, Natural Breakdown, Pnuma Trio, Lotus, Brothers Past, and Quagmire Swim Team, just to name a few) into a small jamband-based venue in downtown Reading called The Brass Lantern.
At the end of 2008, with more than 500 booked shows under his belt, three years of sound engineering experience, and many new-found friends, Chris stepped back from full-time employment at The Brass Lantern and, with the assistance of BMull Consulting, formed PlusVibes Productions and www.plusvibes.com .
Chris will enlist the help of his closest friends, often referred to as the VIBES PATROL, to ensure that the tradition he started back in 2003 continues to bring quality music to the dedicated fans and to evolve into a premier production company in the area.
Also, +VIBES will be giving back to the community, hosting and sponsoring charity events for both local and worldwide causes. Charity events provide social awareness to the scene, and, beyond the donations (money, canned goods, etc.) that are expected, these events call on the ‘strength in numbers’ tactic, creating a proportional pool of potential positive energy and directing that energy onto the issue at hand. You can change the world through positive thinking!
